Modern & RCM Piano
by Philip Laessoe & LAESonic (hosted in studio or online)
I teach weekly Modern & RCM Piano lessons hosted remotely/privately, at MMS (May's Music School) in Richmond, BC and online.
These days I recommend my students the online format. It's flexible and I can teach you regardless of where you are based in the world as my online teaching setup features sheet music and live notation, excellent view of the piano keyboard and high-end streamed stereo sound and provide you with an uploaded lesson recording after each lesson.
I teach all styles of music using primarily a Modern/Contemporary pop song repertoire that gives my students a level of freedom to choose songs as well, in combination with my own song recommendations and requirements. I also touch on famous songs rooted in Blues, Jazz, R&B, Country and Classical music.
By request, I can convert part of your lesson (or the entire duration) to teach you RCM Piano for levels 1-8, including all related Repertoire, Etudes, Tech. Requirements, Sight Reading, Ear Training as well as Music Theory. I often recommend my Modern Piano students this technical and theoretical step up after taking lessons for a year or two, as I am a certified RCM teacher as well.

The Spiritual Journey
"Unity Resonance Within" - by LAESoul (hosted in studio or online)
"Embodying inner union with self stabilizes your energy field and transforms your life from within"
Soul unity is an inner state of union with self. A state of completeness and wholeness within yourself, where you don't look for anything or anyone outside of you. You ARE the universe and your own source of love. That state of being creates inner peace and establishes a level of harmony and unconditional love for the universe as a whole. It encourages you to authentically open up to the world, to feel, accept and appreciate everything in the very moment of Now!
All souls are capable of reaching this state. Unfortunately, most who embark on this journey are met with great difficulty navigating it. I have dedicated my life towards the true spiritual journey (the soul/unity consciousness journey) and therefore can help you on your path as well - even though each journey is unique. I can help you go Within. The core concept of spirituality is to embrace unity within Self, which many people forget over the course of their modern lives. To live in harmony and lead your life from your Higher Self (ie. your Soul) using your mind to what it is designed for, not to mislead yourself into endless looping based on childhood wounding, failed relationships or other traumas. Your soul recognizes its true purpose and mission when you clear the mental clouds of clutter!
Like many others, I was catalyzed by a powerful spiritual encounter which triggered the core of my Monadic Soul awakening. I touch on the physically dualistic aspects of this awakening journey from time to time, but please remember - the core of this journey is about: Your Unique Ascension. The core foundation of my life is my solidified inner union, and in combination with my spiritual and astrological depth and experience, I professionally offer to help you grow and ascend towards enlightenment on your journey towards unity consciousness, self-love, inner peace and alignment!
